The Clivus
"Trailhead" is a complete restroom building that solves
toilet needs for remote sites without porta-potties and without
water, septic or sewers. The walls are foam-core aluminum and the
roof is polyethylene. Solar power for the fan is optional. (Photo:

with wood exterior walls and a shingle roof is optional. The front
section of floor is hinged for access to the composter base for
maintenance. (Photo: Herring Creek Nature Park, West Ocean City,

The interior is easy to
clean and handicapped accessible.
In
this photo, the composter base is installed in the excavation,
ready for the floor and the building to be assembled on top.
